The Department of Computer
Applications organized a Google Commemoration Day Quiz to students of Chennai
Girls Hr. Sec. School and Smt. Durgadevi Choudhary Vivekananda Vidyalaya Senior
Secondary School on 13.09.2023.
The main motto of this quiz competition is to create awareness
among the students about the Google, its past and present. Around 140
participants from both the schools participated in this event. This quiz was
conducted through various stages such as Entry level test of 20 questions in an
open forum, Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3.
Among these students I prize was given to one team, II prize to
one team and third prize to two teams. The certificate and prize books were
distributed to the students by their school Head Mistress.
The students and teachers enjoyed participating the quiz. They
gave good feedback about the event.

The Department of
Computer Applications has organized EVS Field trip to Birla Planetarium, Chennai
for II BCA students on 20.07.2023. The study aimed at x-raying the imperatives
of Field Trip in studying various aspects in Environmental Sciences. The study
adopted survey, observation, assessment of field trip report. It specifically
acquires their knowledge and better equipped in their course of studies on Environmental
studies.
The Department of Computer Applications organized an Industrial
Visit to MGM Dizzee world, Muthukkadu on 20.07.2023. Students were allowed to
have entertainment in playing with rides, water pool and boating inside the
amusement park with proper safety measures.
Around 51 students came for the trip accompanied by one faculty
member.
